Disk health (SMART)

The health monitoring widget shows a status and temperature for each disk when the Glances SMART plugin is enabled. The plugin is disabled by default and needs direct access to the disks:

• use a -full image tag (it ships smartctl and pySMART) and run Glances as root (the image default)
• enable the plugin with --enable-plugin smart
• add the SYS_RAWIO capability for SATA disks and SYS_ADMIN for NVMe drives
• pass every disk to the container

The status is PASSED, or FAILED when a SATA SMART attribute has crossed its failure threshold or an NVMe drive reports a critical warning.
